Learning Outcomes

Module 1: MENSTRUAL CYCLE

  • Recognise and apply exercise science principles to females and the menstrual cycle | This module delves into the female hormone cycle - from the basics to how to periodise training around its phases and nutritional considerations as well as understanding hormonal disorders like PCOS and Endometriosis

 

Module 2: GENDER DIFFERENCES

  • Understand physiological differences between the genders and incorporate these concepts into fitness programming | In this module, students will understand the main differences between the genders, how to program to suit female physiology and identify different nutritional requirements as well as understand the importance of and help clients with body image, mindset and disordered eating issues

 

Module 3: PRE AND POST-NATAL

  • Recognise and incorporate exercise science principles for pre and post-natal female clients | This module covers everything from pelvic floor health, mental health, safe exercise for pre and post-natal clients to understanding pre and post-natal complications and the nutritional needs of pregnant and post partum clients

 

Module 4: MENOPAUSE

  • Understand and apply exercise considerations around the female menopause cycle | In this module we delve into all the phases and symptoms of menopause and how women are impacted mentally and physically by its stages. Students will be able to adapt programs to support menopausal clients and deliver safe exercise programs, as well as understanding the benefits of nutrition and supplementation

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO TAKE THIS COURSE?

The investment is $400 each workshop or $1350 for all four. If you’re already enrolled into our Cert III & IV in Fitness, these workshops are included for free. The workshops can be completed in 3 hours each or you have 12 months to complete the workshops. You will receive a Master Certificate in Fitness Programming for Females once all four are completed and you are assessed as competent
